Gathering Of The Juggalos Survival Guide

Food and Drink:

Bring a lot of water to avoid dehydration, as if you were going camping in the traditional sense. Free water stations are really difficult to find at Gathering of the Juggalos Cave-in-Rock site, and water sold on festival grounds is expensive.

Same goes for food. Bring any snacks you can, because substantial meals are expensive and youre advised to eat them sparingly. Feel free to bring a cooler, but remember that Cave-in-Rock is hot in August, and ice is really expensive on site.

The Sun:

Again, Cave-in-Rock is hot and humid in August, and like the water situation, sunscreen is expensive to buy on site at the Gathering of the Juggalos. Frequent attendees also note that if you plan to stand in line for autographs at the camping concert, youll be standing for a while directly underneath the blazing Cave-In-Rock sun. Bring an umbrella to shade yourself during this waiting period!

Just like any camping concert, staying sane is difficult for those of us who enjoy being clean. Gathering of the Juggalos offers up free showers for all Juggalos on hand at the Cave-in-Rock festival grounds, but lines are long and shower conditions might leave you dirtier than before entering. Bring a solid amount of baby wipes for the basics. If those dont end up cutting it, theres always the camping concert showers

ATMs are few and far between at the Gathering of the Juggalos camping concert, and lines are long at the Cave-in-Rock site. Remember, at any camping concert you can expect pickpockets, so make sure your cash is never left in your tent and always in your wallet. Your wallet should be kept in the front pocket of your pants while enjoying the scene at Cave-in-Rock!

Traffic Laws:

If you plan on road tripping to the Gathering of the Juggalos camping concert, obey all traffic laws on your way there! The Cave-in-Rock police officers will take advantage of any miniscule law that you break and use it as an excuse to bring the dogs out to sniff your vehicle.

If youre a smoker, bring a few cartons with you. Cigarettes are far too expensive to buy once you get to the Cave-in-Rock venue, and some Juggalos will even pay you for any extra cigarettes you have.

If you use your phone to take pictures all weekend at the Gathering of the Juggalos, it will run out of batteries and you probably wont have any way to charge it. Outlets dont grow on trees in Cave-in-Rock! Bring a camera if you have one!

Bring condoms. Enough said.

Listen to this advice and youre guaranteed to have another great year in Cave-in-Rock for the Gathering of the Juggalos camping concert in 2011!
